3rd Annual Run/Walk to Help Children Talk at Fort Hays State University

The Fort Hays State University Herndon Clinic and National Student Speech Language Hearing Association hosted the third Annual Run/Walk to Help Children Talk. The event was held at Municipal Park in Hays, KS on April 25th, 2015.

This year, the committee planned a “Post Race Celebration,” to not only celebrate and thank participants, but also encourage non-runners and walkers to come join the event. The community embraced the event and local businesses donated all items needed to host a delicious post-race pulled pork lunch! In addition, generous sponsor donations covered the cost of the race, allowing all $2,071.50 of registration fees, to go towards children scholarships and materials for the Herndon Clinic.
