The Fort Hays State University Herndon Clinic and National Student Speech Language Hearing Association hosted
the third Annual Run/Walk to Help Children Talk. The event was held at Municipal Park in Hays, KS on April 25th, 2015.
This year, the committee planned a “Post Race Celebration,” to not only celebrate and thank participants, but also
encourage non-runners and walkers to come join the event. The community embraced the event and local businesses donated
all items needed to host a delicious post-race pulled pork lunch! In addition, generous sponsor donations covered the
cost of the race, allowing all $2,071.50 of registration fees, to go towards children scholarships and materials for
the Herndon Clinic.
Thank You
The FHSU Herndon Clinic and student organization are so thankful for the sponsors, volunteers, and registrants contributed
their time, money, and support and look forward to another successful event in 2016!
