Letter from Jeffry Larson

Hello Brother Donald,

I hope you are well. Here’s some information on my selection in the “Scottish Rite Has Talent” and the CTC.

If you are familiar with the Scottish Rite Freemasonry you may have heard of an event that is put together by the Supreme Council called “Celebrating the Craft”. This year will be the 3rd annual CTC and will take place on Saturday, May 17th at the House of the Temple. The show will be broadcast and available over the internet. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the Rebuilding the Temple campaign as well as Orient charities. More information about the event can be found here.

In conjunction with the CTC the Supreme Council held a “Scottish Rite Talent” competition in which brothers were encouraged to send in video clips of them preforming music or other talent. After screening all the entries the judges selected 18 brothers to come to the House of the Temple and preform live on the CTC broadcast.

I am pleased and honored to announce that I have been chosen as one of the preformers to appear on the show. I will be traveling To Washington DC to participate in this program where I will be signing two songs and accompanying myself on guitar. Needless to say this is a real thrill for me not only to appear on the show but also to raise the visibility of Freemasonry and to assist in fundraising for its charitable work.

I am very excited by this opportunity to take part in this effort for the good of Freemasonry and its charitable outreach. The broadcast will be via internet only on Saturday, May 17th, 6:00 PM to Midnight EST. Currently I don’t know what time I will be preforming but I will let you know once the schedule is set.

You can see the list of brothers preforming in the CTC here. You will notice my entry is a little messed up. My membership is still the Valley of Salina in Kansas by I recently moved to Washington state and that where I currently live.

Thanks!
Jeffry Larson
